At my school, there is a girl who was born a dwarf and she went to the dance. For most of the night, she sat by herself in a corner ‘cause she was too small to dance with anyone. Then a boy off the baseball team asked her to dance. He got onto his knees so they could dance comfortably together. GMH!

Today when I was working an adorable older couple came through my line. When I asked if they had found everything they needed, the woman looked at her husband and said “I found everything I needed 43 years ago.” GMH.

Today I heard about a man who was terminally ill and too weak to stand for long periods of time. At his daughter’s wedding, he not only danced the entire father-daughter dance, but he sang the whole song to her: he’d been practicing for weeks at the hospital so that he could remember every word. Yesterday while I was working, a father with his daughter came in with two bags of toys. He told me they had just come from her 6th birthday party, and I assumed they had a bunch of returns. The girl then proceeded to tell me that instead of getting gifts, she asked all her friends to bring presents to donate to our toy drive. GMH.

A couple months ago, my little brother came home from his first day in kindergarten. When I asked him about his class, he said “there’s a girl in my class, and she’s so pretty!” The girl he was talking about is a bald 5 year old with leukemia. His unconditional love GMH.
